The Redding Fire Fighters have been involved with our local Special Olympics and the extraordinary athletes that take place in the annual Basketball tournament since 1992. For the past 18 years the Redding Firefighters have provided medical standby, off duty free of charge to the athletes and spectators that attend this worthwhile weekend event. The members of local 1934 our proud to be a part of this event and take pride in providing EMS services to 3 gymnasiums for 6 hrs each day. Just another fine example of how our members are dedicated to Redding community events.
